How many corny-ass puns can they fit in???

Can it, Waves….

Okay, this is pretty frickin’ cool.  Possibly TOO powerful for a mobile app.

Dear Tumblr,

I haven’t been great about using you the past couple weeks.  Here’s partly why:

Played 30 times

My not-so-new-but-long-overdue sounds:

My homework tonight.

Played 172 times

My Sunday afternoon:

Dream Job Coming Out of School

Assistant to a record producer, with big credits and cash, at his private home studio, maintaining the facility, engineering sessions, mixing and cooking all his meals (on little or no budget).

Dream Job at 40:

BE that producer.

…but still cook.

nbd.

Gear I Want/Need/Could Use

- A decent dynamic mic for tracking drums and such
- ProTools 9, so I don’t have to plug in a damn MBox everytime I want to work on a mix
- an Apogee Duet - apparently beautiful converters and pres, portable so I can record on the go
- Digidesign 003, or some other interface (thanks, Berklee, but I’ve become skeptical of my MBox Pro…)
- speaker mounts/stands so I can set up my new monitor next to my laptop and in effect run 3 screens at once
- A new snare, possibly that Stewart Copeland chrome-plated brass signature
- a bigger hard drive, so I can have everything….EVERYTHING on board. My current data management situation needs a serious makeover….
- more RAM, so my (relative) dinosaur-of-a-laptop can actually handle my projects without panting
- Omnisphere softsynth library….’cause everybody’s doin’ it!
- a Fender Thinline Telecaster….this one’s more for my soul’s indulgence :D

…Ahhh, now to make that chedda.
